Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoryLayer ("the Service"), operated by Afore Travel Ltd ("we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StoryLayer is a social media content creation and automation platform that allows users to create, schedule, and publish content to connected social media accounts using data-driven insights and AI-powered content generation.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to StoryLayer. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g., publishing to your connected social accounts).

5. Connected Accounts

When you connect third-party social media accounts, you authorise StoryLayer to publish content on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that content published through StoryLayer complies with the terms of service of each connected platform. You may disconnect any account at any time.

6. Use of Facebook and Instagram

Meta Platform Terms

  • By connecting your Instagram or Facebook account, you authorise StoryLayer to publish content, read account information, and retrieve post analytics on your behalf via the Meta Graph API.
  • You are responsible for ensuring all content published through StoryLayer complies with Meta's Community Standards, Instagram's Community Guidelines, and Facebook's Platform Policies.
  • You must not use StoryLayer to post content that violates Meta's terms, including but not limited to: spam, misleading content, intellectual property violations, or content that targets individuals.
  • StoryLayer is not responsible for content removed by Meta or account restrictions imposed by Meta as a result of content published through our Service.
  • Meta may revoke StoryLayer's API access at any time, which may interrupt the Service. StoryLayer is not liable for service interruptions caused by Meta's platform decisions.
  • You may disconnect your Meta accounts at any time from the Social Accounts page. Disconnecting does not delete content previously published to those platforms — it only revokes StoryLayer's ability to publish new content.

7. AI-Generated Content

StoryLayer uses artificial intelligence to assist with content creation. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before publication. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or performance of AI-generated content.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:
  • Publish content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for spam or unsolicited messaging

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryLayer and Afore Travel Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
