How to Delete Your StoryLayer Data

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to StoryLayer and want to delete your data, you have three options:

Delete via StoryLayer Dashboard

Takes effect immediately

  1. Log in to storylayer.ai
  2. Go to Social Accounts in the sidebar
  3. Click "Disconnect" next to your Instagram or Facebook account
  4. Go to Settings
  5. Scroll to the account section and click "Delete my account"
  6. Confirm deletion
This will:
  • Revoke StoryLayer's access to your Facebook and Instagram accounts
  • Delete all stored access tokens
  • Delete all post analytics data associated with your account
  • Delete your StoryLayer account and all associated data

Delete via Facebook

If you no longer have access to StoryLayer

  1. Go to your Facebook account settings
  2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings
  3. Click Security and Login
  4. Click "Apps and Websites"
  5. Find StoryLayer in the list
  6. Click Remove
  7. Facebook will notify StoryLayer to delete your data
After removing via Facebook, StoryLayer will receive a deletion callback and process full removal of your Facebook and Instagram data within 30 days. You can check the status of your deletion request using the confirmation code below.

Email Request

Email privacy@storylayer.ai with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Include your StoryLayer account email and/or your Facebook or Instagram username so we can locate your data.

We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Check Deletion Status

If you submitted a deletion request via Facebook, enter your confirmation code to check its status:
